DRGFF Program Rumbo al Festival Reports from Nagua
New York, October 14, 2009

This week’s broadcast of Rumbo al Festival will showcase the beautiful and vibrant city of Nagua in the province of Maria Trinidad Sanchez. Nagua will be one of the four cities in which the 2009 Dominican Republic Global Film Festival (DRGFF) will be celebrated. The program’s hosts Taina Rodríguez y Raymond Jáquez will interview Festival collaborator, Julian Guzman, Director of the Ministry of Culture in Nagua. Rodriguez and Jáquez will also spotlight Soraya Mateo, Director of the Short Film Obsesión and participant in the DRGFF Short Film Contest. What is more, the program will also include conversations with Festival volunteers, along with trailers and trivia. Don’t miss a second!

Tune into broadcasts on Digital 15, Thursdays at 8:30 pm and later (November 9-17) Monday through Friday at 8:30 pm. Repeat programs will be televised by Atena Latina on Sundays at 10:00 am, CTN on Tuesdays at 10:30 pm and Canal 21 Mondays through Friday at 11:00 pm.

The third edition of the Dominican Republic Global Film Festival will take place November 18 – 22 in the cities of Santo Domingo, Santiago, Puerto Plata and Nagua.
