Keep current on all Dominican Republic Global Film Festival (DRGFF) developments by tuning into the Festival’s television program Rumbo al Festival (Path to the Festival). The broadcast was launched last Monday, October 1. The purpose of the program is to inform the public of what will take place during the Festival. The program will cover everything from the 2009 selection of documentary and feature-length films and the industry professionals participating in this year’s edition of DRGFF, to the details of the 2009 professional panels and workshops, thematic discussion sessions and social events.

The eight-week long broadcast hosted by Taina Rodríguez and Raymond Jaquez will be televised every Thursday throughout the month of October and the first week of November, and later daily during the week prior to the Festival (November 18-22).

Tune into broadcasts on Digital 15, Thursdays at 8:30 pm and later (November 9-17) Monday through Friday at 8:30 pm. Repeat programs will be televised by Atena Latina on Sundays at 10:00 am, CTN on Tuesdays at 10:30 pm and Canal 21 Mondays through Friday at 11:00 pm.

Last Monday, Rodríguez and Jaquez covered the highlights of the 2008 red carpet. Don’t miss a second of the latest coverage!
