    Hanna and Simon are in a passionless, long-term relationship. Soon after Simon's mother passes away, he discovers he has testicular cancer but hides it from Hanna who has struck up an affair with Adam. When Simon leaves the hospital, she and Hanna get married. Shortly thereafter, Simon meets Adam and also begins an amorous affair with him. When Hanna finds she is pregnant and does not know who the father is, both of their love affairs come out. In the end, when they realize they are both involved with the same person, Adam, they decide to form an open threesome relationship.

    Tom Tykwer was born in 1965 in Wuppertal, Germany. He is a film director, composer and screenwriter. His best-known films are “Run Lola Run” (1998), “Heaven” (2002), “Perfume: The Story of a Murderer” (2006), y “The International” (2009).
